The art of henna has been used for centuries in India, Africa, Egypt, and the Middle East. In the recent years, it has gained popularity and become prevalent in western countries. The leaves of the henna plant are used to make a paste that is perfect for applying temporary art on the skin. It can also be used for dying hair, as it adds a light orange tint to your hair as well as vital nutrients.
It is perfectly safe to apply on skin and hair, as we use henna paste that is 100% natural and does NOT contain any artificial coloring or chemicals. We highly believe in being safe and keeping our skin healthy.
THREADING
Eyebrows are the one thing you can get into shape without exercising and we’re here to help you do just that. Eyebrow threading gives you smooth and perfected brows that help to frame your face beautifully. A pure, thin, twisted cotton thread is rolled over untidy hairs, gently pulling them from the root and leaving you with a clean and defined look. It does not harm the skin and any irritation lasts no more than a few minutes.
In addition, we offer threading in other areas of the face as well, not only giving you smooth skin, but leaving you with a bright and fresh look. Does it hurt? Well, some like to say beauty is pain, but believe or not, we’ve had some of our clients fall asleep on us!
WAXING
Waxing leaves your skin clean, smooth, and pleasant to the touch. Almost all areas of the body can be waxed, including the face, arms, legs, back, bikini, etc. The estheticians spread GiGi honey wax thinly over the skin. A cloth or paper strip is pressed on top and torn off with a quick movement against the direction of the hair growth. This semi-permanent method removes hair from the root, which delays the growth of the hair in that area for two to six weeks.
FACIALS
Receive the radiant skin you have always wanted! We provide facial treatments that exfoliate the skin and remove dirt/sebum from your pores to give you a youthful appearance. Depending on the type of facial and your skin type, we use different products from Dermalogica and Image Skincare to enhance and rejuvenate your skin.
With years of experience, our licensed estheticians will do a brief skin analysis to provide you with any information necessary to help you keep your skin looking healthy and fresh even after your treatment. There can be some variation in service length, but the typical extensive facial generally lasts about an hour. And for the hustlers out there, we offer a mini facial that takes only about 30 minutes, so you don’t have to compromise your skin health. You deserve to treat yourself.
